What is DTS ?
Come away with God for 6 months—allow Him to show you more of who He is and who you are. The Word and Worship DTS is a combination of deepening your understanding in the Word of God and cultivating a life of wholehearted worship as you grow in your relationship with God. On outreach, you will have the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned by sharing the gospel with the lost, partnering with what God is doing in the nations and using your gifts in worship to create spaces where others can encounter the living God and respond in praise.
TRAINING PHASE (3 MONTHS)

KNOW GOD
During the 12 week Training Phase, students will participate in a live and learn environment at our training campus in Castiglioncello, Italy. There are many program components, including: classroom times, one-on-one discipleship, opportunities to serve, and community events. Each of these components serve to aid you in discovering more of who God is, how we hear His voice, who we are, what the Bible says about our world, and the role we play in the Great Commission to preach the Gospel to the nations.
MAKE GOD KNOWN
In the Outreach Phase, students embark on a 3 month overseas mission trip to further cultivate their relationship with the Lord as they spread the Gospel. Students will serve alongside churches, local ministries, and the work of the Lord in that nation. No two outreaches look alike, but they are always a time to “taste and see that the Lord is good” as we partner with Him to do His will.

course credit
The Discipleship Training School (YWAM DTS) is a prerequisite for all other courses and is therefore the gateway into the seven Colleges/Faculties and various Centres of the University of the Nations. The DTS also serves to orient and prepare all new Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and UofN staff.
